Cashtown Inn
Cashtown-McKnightstown, PA 17310
This inn dates back to 1797. It's name originates from the original innkeeper, Peter Marck, who would only accept cash as payment from customers. Many say the inn is haunted by ghost from the nearby Gettysburg battle site. Paranormal experiences have included doors closing and slamming on their own.
The inn has since had structural renovations completed on the first floor and serves as a bed and breakfast house with a fine dining restaurant.

Reviews
This place is awesome. If you're looking for paranormal activity you'll find it here. My husband and I stayed here in the beginning of August 2024. Had our flashlight turn on and then shut off when we asked it to. (A couple of times) There was EMF reading, intelligent answers from ghost tube and our door was locked on us before we left. I guess they didn't want us to go. Lol
