Fairfield Inn
Fairfield, PA 17320
As one of America's most oldest inn's established in 1757, it continues in operation today as a small luxury hotel. The property was originally the Mansion House of Squire Miller, an original founder of the town. At one point it also served as the grounds for a hospital after battle so Civil War era soldiers were treated here. Many claim the hotel is haunted by several spirits. There's the mischievous soldiers in the kitchen, an old man in the dining area, and a woman that opens doors on the third floor.

I came here one day in 2019 for breakfast and a “tour” of the Underground Railroad with my 8th grade class on the way to Gettysburg for our DC trip. If I would have known it was haunted I would have had my phone recording the entire time and probable held up my entire class trying to get some of connection ??. needless to say, I will return at some point!!

Stayed here early 2019 with my fiancé. We checked in by ourselves and there was no one to greet us and no other occupants since we stayed on a Thursday night. We were in the main front hall reading the photos on the walls and something played/flipped my hair. Later that night while video taping ourselves to later review we found while reviewing the tape something was messing with the blanket I had covering me. We WILL be back!!!
