Jean Bonnet Tavern
Bedford, PA 15522
In the 1740s, it was a French outpost and by the 1750s, it was war headquarters. By the 1760s, it turned into a tavern. The tavern is believed to host several spirits. Several people were hanged here and many say their spirits continue to wander the property as there have been reports of apparition sightings, cold spots, strange occurences with the lights, and photographic images developing to show odd things.
