This inn was named after Josiah Wedgewood (of the china) and was built in 1878. It is believed to be haunted by the ghosts of a young girl named Sarah and Joseph Pickett. George Washington and his men once camped out on this land during the American Revolution, just before his famous crossing to Delaware.

Reviews

Definitely haunted

The wife and I stayed one weekend and twice during the night the electric fireplace went on by itself. At the time we had no idea about the hauntings. We asked the owner over breakfast and she was shocked telling us nothing ever happens in that particular room and proceeded to tell us about strange occurrences that are know to happen there. Can’t wait to go back
