Phineas Pemberton House - Bolton Mansion

Back in 1977 or 78 just before we did the big clean out of the buildings me my friend Jay and our girlfriends went into the house we went all the way upstairs to the two top windows Jay was in the one room with his girlfriend I was in the other room with my girlfriend it was around 3:00 in the afternoon beautiful sunny day we're just sitting up there talking checking out the house and all the sudden we hear this moan sound that went right through your body scared to hell out of me stood there in shock then it happened again I run to the doorway Jay ran to the other doorway he looks at me and asked me was that you I said no I thought it was you we heard it again we flew down those stairs and out the back door like we were on fire we weren't very nice we left both girls upstairs screaming in terror while we hollered from the back door run I know that wasn't very nice of me to leave my girlfriend upstairs but the bad part is my girlfriend was Jay's sister so he left his girlfriend and his sister up there.... Good times good scary times we were only around 13 years old.... When I was 17 I was walking home from Crabtree I cut through Holly Hill came up through the back of the Mansion where the foundation is came walking across the front looked up and on the front porch I watched a woman walk around from the side of the building and walk right into the front door which was a board she was wearing old style clothes and she was somewhat translucent she kind of looked out of focus This time I stopped in amazement and just said wow that was cool.
