This inn was named after Vice President Aaron Burr because some of his dear friends lived in the original home that once stood on the site. Burr's ghost has been seen several times, usually on the second floor and its staircase. He likes to tug on guests' clothing, the ones he likes, as if trying to get them not to leave the inn.
