Benjamin Franklin Grave at Christ Church Burial Ground
22-26 North 2nd Street
Philadelphia, PA 19106
Philadelphia, PA 19106
“A penny saved is twopence dear" - that's what Benjamin Franklin once said and what appears at his grave site today where visitors would leave pennies. Some report of the grave site being haunted because there have been accounts of pennies left being thrown back at visitors. It's unclear whether it's the spirit of Benjamin Franklin flinging the pennies back or that of another spirit.
