This mansion dates back to the 1740's and was purchased by John Haldeman in 1812, who enlarged the home. His son, Samuel Steman Haldeman, was a renowned scientist honored by Charles Darwin for his contribution to the famous book "The Origin of the Species" and by Daniel Webster for his help on the dictionary. Paranormal investigators have reported collecting several EVP recording from the front porch of the mansion.

Myself and my team went to this site twice. As a policy, if there is nothing present on one investigation we return to double check our findings. There is absolutely nothing haunted about haldeman. Do not waste your money. It is a shame that they are using this beautiful house to exploit those interested in the paranormal. They could easily restore it and make a ton of money as an event/wedding venue. Posted 1/29/21
