This Federal-style mansion dates back to 1794 and is believed to be haunted by members of the various families who onced resided and died here. There have been reports of eerie sounds, disembodied voices and various poltergeist-type activities. A Pennsylvania state historical marker, authorized by the state's Historical and Museum Commission, stands on site today.
