Built in 1906, this now abandoned historic prison was decommissioned in 1979. It first began as part of a complex of custodial buildings, including the York County Poorhouse and Hospital. It was torn down in 1906 and replaced with the 30,000 square foot brick building. Witnesses have reported being followed around the building by the spirits of criminals, and have seen and smelt someone lighting a cigarette when there is no one around.
Please Note: This building may currently be located on private property.

I went with my brother once and we explored the entire thing top to bottom. The energy we experienced was unreal, it literally drained us. I have a video where you can very clearly hear someone whisper into my phone “don’t go” as e descend the stairs up slowly. We also came out and woke up sick with scratches all over our bodies the next day. Do with this what you will but don’t go here. You risk your life every time. Especially if you aren’t baptized like me you never know what could follow you back.

we went and investigated with all the ghost and ghoul tools, while doing the estas method (with a sb7) we got instant accurate results and full conversations. while i am skeptical this definitely was one of the places that made me start changing my perception on life after death!!

I went during the day so enough to draw too much attention around 2:00 pm you have to go around the right front and then alongside a little path where brush is clearly stepped upon and go around to the wall and climb up it using the one tree near it I don't recommend going back there if you're heavy set or not skinny enough to fit the rule the what was cemented part to the back side for people that have been there before I'm not talking of like the cat entrance that is now cemented along with all the other main entrances this was my first time there and it definitely is getting deteriorated more and more from what I've seen videos on YouTube from years ago took pictures and videos if you're interested contact me on Facebook or Instagram Gavin Mcnaughton not sure if it's haunted but friends of mine have said to hear footsteps and see inmates and shadows? Possibly best to go towards night time to find out if this is true?
