Getter's Island - Easton PA Real Haunts

Getter's Island is a small island located in The Delaware River that can be seen from Easton, Pennsylvania. The island was where a man named Charles Getter was executed. His death was quite dramatic as it involves a woman who accused him of fathering her child, but he was in love with another woman. He still ended up marrying the woman who claimed he fathered her child and he strangled her to death. His ghost is known to haunt the island and it can be seen from Downtown Easton at night. The island is not accessible by foot.
