Hexenkopf Rock
Northampton County, PA
Hexenkopf Rock, also known as Witch's Head (its translation in German) is located on Hexenkopf Road in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. The rock was used during Native American rituals to get rid of evil spirits and it is known to be the home of witches and demons. The rock features a strange glow, but many believe it is just from a coating of minerals. The rock is featured on the Haunted Easton Tours, where paranormal lovers can hear the story of the woman sentenced to stand on the rock for six hours, four times a year. She was accused of bewitching a horse, and now, some farmers believe their horses are drenched in sweat because the witches have put them to work.
