Bureau of State Library
Harrisburg, PA 17120
This state library was supposedly built over what used to be the "8th Ward," the red-light district of early Harrisburg and it is rumored to be one of Pennsylvania's haunted locations. The lights have been known to turn on and off after closing time and the lids to the copiers open and close by themselves while no one is around. There are also stories surrounding "The White Woman" who has been seen in the library. The library has offered "spooky tours" around Halloween Season for those who are interested in taking a look around.
