The American Philosophical Society Library in Philadelphia is said to be haunted by the ghost of Founding Father Benjamin Franklin. His apparition has been spotted climbing down from his statue and dancing in the streets of the Historic District. Franklin's ghost has all been seen wandering through the building with an armful of books.
