Fright Farm has been an integral part of many people’s Halloween tradition for three decades, growing every year since its inception. Entering its 30th season, Fright Farm is one of Pennsylvania’s top rated professional haunted attractions. The fun begins in the Fest-Evil Midway before you enter our 5 distinct attractions: Hayride of No Return, Frightmare Mansion, Slaughter Grounds, The Clinic and The Abyss! Our state-of-the-art special effects, highly-detailed scenes, custom digital soundtracks, computerized lighting, and talented actors make Fright Farm a frightening experience unlike any other.

FEST-EVIL MIDWAY
Opening before dusk, patrons gather in the outdoor Fest-Evil Midway to enjoy live music, haunting entertainment, concessions, seasonal vendors, games, bonfires, and classic horror movies on the monstrous video screen. Once the sun sets, visitors load up the wagon and begin their adventure through Fright Farm!

HAYRIDE OF NO RETURN
Take a ride on the blood-curdling Hayride Of No Return as it makes its way along the twisted path through the countryside of Rich Farms. Tremble in fear as the terrors that reside in the dark emerge to chase you to your doom.

SLAUGHTER GROUNDS
Be ready to run If you want to have a chance. But care only for your own life as you’re let loose to fend for yourself. Separated from your comforts, family and friends, your instincts are your only hope in this Slaughter grounds, and as your heart pumps and cold sweat forms down your neck you expect to round the final corner to salvation. The gleaming glow of the familiar can be seen in the distance, but it is only as momentary as the last glint of hope that is now far gone.

FRIGHTMARE MANSION
With no time to catch their breath from the Slaughter Grounds, victims are welcomed into the Frightmare Mansion. If you dare to enter, beware of those who now inhabit the mansion. No longer is the estate run by human hands but is manipulated by the clawed, fanged, winged, and strange. The abandoned 3-story Mansion is brimming with hair-raising creatures who have declared the estate as their home. What lies within will make even the bravest trespasser scream in sheer terror!

THE CLINIC

As testing begins, rapid heartbeat follows and the unexpected side-effects start to take hold as the volunteers are sent into an uncontrollable hallucinogenic violence.

THE ABYSS

The year round preparation was so obvious in the change of theme, trained staff, safe and friendly environment, fantastic gift shop, food, entertainment, and guaranteed fear factor! The staff was courteous and extremely professional. We highly recommend Fright Farm for a fun filled evening. Dress warm!!

  • They took it to the next level

I've been going for years, but I gotta say, this year's next level! The whole tour was longer than past years and full of new scenes. Hayride was longer and I think it was more built up. We didn't have to wait that long and The festival grounds fun anyway... they added a bunch of games.

  • I Go Every Year Now!

This year will make either the third or fourth time my group and I have gone. We always have tons of fun and the laughter never stops. Its not absolutely terrifying, but you get scared a lot! We are going in about a week this year and I can't wait to go, I'm so excited. Only I complaint I have is the price is a bit much per person, which since they get so many people there you'd think they could slack the price. More people would go if it wasn't so much. I don't recommend taking children if scared easily. A lot goes on, especially with noise.

  • A fun place to visit

My best friend and I live in a very small town in WV that never has anything fun during the fall season. So we decided to look up somewhere fun to go. After our 3 hour trip from WV to the Fright Farm, we only waited about 45mins to an hour (understandable because the Internet told us the place was popular) to get on the hayride. Was it terrifying? No. But it was a really great time. We got scared a few good times, which resulted in some really good laughs. It was good to get away and have fun!!! The cast and workers were very nice and polite. I wouldn't say it was worth 25 dollars... but for a one time trip we didn't mind. We had a good time and that's what matters! I would recommend bringing glove and toe warmers though while in line! It gets quite chilly!! But the bonfire and hot chocolate after makes it all better :)

  • Fun Fun Fun

Let's be realistic if you're over the age of 15 you probably don't scare easily. I've been coming here every year since age 8, and yes it used to terrify me, but I still go back for the fun! It's great and most parts are actually still scary even though most adults won't admit it. It's fun and has good energy, not to mention how many chances do you get to run through that giant house? There is always more than just the scary parts, they usually have live music, local bands, etc., but who doesn't like curling up next to someone they like in the cold with some hot apple cider or hot chocolate? I sure do! Keep up the great work Fright Farm! :)

  • Terrible!!! So Disapointed

You wait in line so long (2 hrs) for the hayride (not the only line there) which sucks and has no hay and has mud everywhere. This hay ride is not one bit scary, buildings and props are awesome but they dont really use any of it. This then drops you off that the mansion and the grounds which once again are not scary and just have people standing in the path that make noises or scream. Sorry but you cant be scared of something that you can see. Once again props and design is awesome but poor execution! Nothing scary! Not one bit! After this you wait in line again (about 1hr) for the maze. There is no one in there to scare you so it is not one bit fun and at this point you are just made that you spent $25 just to get muddy and walk and stand around. After this you wait in line again, for paranoia. This part was actually kinda cool but NOT scary! Definitely didnt make it worth the wait, the money or the 2 hr trip. I would not recommend Fright Farms to anyone! They are raking in the cash and dont deserve it. It SUCKS!!!!

  • More fun than scarehouse!

First off I don't scare easily or at all really so I go purely for the atmosphere and because I am a Halloween junkie! =P I visited Pittsburgh's scarehouse the weekend before I went to fright farm and it was such a disappointment even though its suppose to be one of the scariest in the US, I truly thought fright farm was better! I was soo mad I drove all the way to the scarehouse when I could of drove 20 minutes to fright farm. But back to focusing on fright farm, I go to fright farm every year and every year is awesome. Some people have complained about the price but $25 is average when it comes to haunted attractions and well worth it especially since they added soo much. The line does suck, yes, but they do try to entertain you with live music, DJ's, and shows, which is really unique. Once you've waited through the dreaded line you get on a tractor/hay ride, it is decently long and characters will jump out at you and sometimes jump on the wagon, and you pass many cool scenes. Once the ride is over you are dropped off in front of the house and you follow the many "scary" trails until you are actually inside the house, from there you walk through different rooms/scenes. Lastly, you leave the house and go through a pretty cool maze! I didn't want to go into full detail because I don't want to spoil it for people who have never been but all in all its a fun place to spend your time. They have a decent concession stand, bonfire, and live entertainment!

  • Way to much money

I go every year, best way and only way I go is to have the V.I.P. Tent. Total waste of money, will not go back ever again. Gonna find different location for our get together.
