Chestnut Hall Bed and Breakfast - Real Haunted Place
Witnesses have reported a number of haunted happenings at this inn. Reports include furniture that moves on its own, the organ that plays music late at night, and the apparition of a girl wearing 1800's-style clothing. The ghostly girl was acknowledged by a guest one time, and she turned and vanished from the room into the hallway through a closed door. Visitors have reported "bumping" into an invisible force and have had their clothing tugged, along with objects that seem to go missing, only to appear in plain view days later. Some say there are as many as six ghosts residing at this inn, one is thought to be a neighbor named Alice, who is cordial and peaceful. This location is no longer the Chestnut Hall Bed and Breakfast and as of early 2016, may be up for sale.
